first set up by pastor Terry Lawson from his old folks home in the 60s moving to the local ymca in the 70s as the ministry grew. I personally moved away from Southampton so lost touch but set up this ministry online in 1999 based completely on The Covenant Assembly we are The Faithful.
between 1999 and 2006 we were an ordaining ministry like many others on the open net I found a lot of good came from it but also there was a % not from our ministry but it was going on that some were using it for criminal intent. So I decided to close the ministry down with the ability to ordain outside of our own ministry in 2006 because we found within other ministries that offered the same or similar services for online based ordination some people were using it for criminal intent to me this was not acceptable and a risk I was not willing to take. But that said also many great ministries have also been created by those same ministries and our own since 1999 many Covenant Assembly churches popped up mainly Gospel starting in places of Africa where we ordained and gave Accreditation licence to several to use for getting registered with there government systems now I cannot say it was because of us making things possible or helping to but personally I like to think so. This ministry was back then and now set up to grow by The Spirit of God.
So its a matter of weighing up the good with the bad personally I decided to close down that part of the ministry and completely change how this ministry is portrayed on the open net excepting of all Christ centred denominations with no ambition to encourage people away from there own personal churches or faith systems in real life. Online based ministry is in no way to be used to replace real fellowship it is to be treated as simply a supplement an Addon to help in the growth of Gods church as one people Gods people. As such we are now known as The Faithful.
